501 (c)(3) Organization
The Archaeological Research Cooperative, Inc. (ARCO-OP) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable corporation established in 2005 that facilitates research and publication of pre-contact history in the Americas.
Research
The ARCO-OP supports multidisciplinary research projects designed to contribute to knowledge about the past by donations and member-obtained grants, pursuing new theoretical directions, and developing innovative techniques for archaeological research.
Public Education
While research remains the central mission of ARCO-OP, we want to include the public on our research, sharing our profession with the interested public, students and colleagues.
